The title Hörselgång metaphorically hints at a speculative channel that allows one to listen to, and through, somebody else’s ears. In the Swedish language, gång stands for English “channel”, but also “walkway” or “path”. “Hörsel” means hearing. Site specific instructions and choreographic clues combined with binaural synthesis and enhanced listening practices, interfere with the subjective situatedness of auditory perception, inviting the two participants to be "in-between” the own hearing and the hearing of the other.
